Amberwood Care Centre - Rockford, IL

We would like to introduce Danyell York, LPN and Wound Care Treatment Nurse.  Danyell describes this position as rewarding.  "It is satisfying to treat wounds and see the patient improve and heal so they can return home."  She received her nursing degree from Illinois Valley Community College.

When Danyell isn't caring for her residents at Amberwood Care Centre, she is home with her 11 year old daughter and two dogs.  Her daughter is involved in competitive dance which provides several opportunities to travel which both mother and daughter enjoy.  They are especially looking forward to  going to Branson, Missouri for a national competition this summer that Danyell's daughter will be competing in.
