Amberwood Care Centre - Rockford, IL

Heather Hartman, RN, CNP is our Nurse Practitioner at Amberwood Care Centre.  A Nurse Practitioner is an RN who has completed advanced education with a minimum of a Master's Degree.  NPs are similar to physicians in that they diagnose and treat illnesses as well as prescribe medications and therapies.  Heather works in collaboration with doctors Dorsey, Eckberg and Shock.  She has been in long term care for twenty years. Born and raised in Galena, Illinois, Heather received her advanced education from the University of Iowa.
