Rockford, IL – Amberwood Care Centre would like to welcome our co-medical directors, Dr. John Dorsey and Dr. Joseph Eckburg, to our community. With their experience and dedication to providing exceptional care, doctors Dorsey and Eckburg lead a strong team of caregivers at the New Amberwood.

Dr. John T. Dorsey, MD, graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1981. He completed both his internship and residency at the Hershsey Med Center Penn State. He currently practices internal medicine in Rockford, IL.

Dr. Joseph J. Eckburg, MD, PhD, graduated from the University of Illinois with his MD as well as his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Board Certified Family Physician and has been practicing in the Rockford, IL area for over 10 years.
