Patient, resdent and family counseling

Patient, resident and family counseling and interventions play an increasingly important role in the care and treatment of older adults. Stress, depression and other psychological problems stemming from medical issues, loss and other life adversities can often be reduced or even eliminated through our combination of interpersonal psychotherapy, problem-solving and cognitive-behavioral therapies. A robust schedule of activities specifically designed to encourage socialization, engage and involve the resident further enhance the quality of life for residents here at Amberwood.
